Handmade/Digital Cards:

Our volunteers create personalized cards filled with messages of hope and kindness.Our Card-Making Program invites volunteers of all ages to create heartfelt, handmade cards for children facing difficult circumstances. Whether a child is in the hospital, living in a shelter, or experiencing food insecurity, a colourful card with a kind message can bring comfort, encouragement, and joy.

Why Cards Matter
A simple card may seem small, but to a child who feels scared or isolated, it can mean everything. It shows them someone cares. It reminds them they’re not forgotten. It can lift their spirits during tough times — especially when they’re away from home or family.

What Kind of Cards Do We Make?
We make cards for all kinds of occasions and needs, such as:

• Get Well Soon cards for children in hospitals

• Holiday and birthday cards for kids in shelters

• Just Because cards with uplifting messages

• Thank You cards for caregivers and healthcare workers (optional volunteer option)
