Spoons of Science: Research Library is our nonprofit’s dedicated research space focused on youth and child well-being. We believe that science should serve the real world—and that the best research is both compassionate and clear. In this space, we explore topics that impact young lives every day: from mental health and brain development, to screen time, nutrition, and social connection.

Our goal is to make important findings more accessible especially to families, youth workers, educators, and volunteers. Every article we publish is a “spoonful” of science: digestible, evidence-based, and always centered on what helps young people thrive.Spoons of Science bridges the gap between research and everyday impact.

Each paper or post offers key takeaways, relevant data, and real-world context. Some are short explainers. Others are deeper dives. Many are created in collaboration with youth, because we believe young people deserve to be at the table when decisions are made about their lives.

You're welcome to browse, download, and share any of our research materials. We encourage educators and volunteers to use these spoonfuls as tools for workshops, discussions, grant writing, or programming support. And if you’re interested in contributing your own research idea, or helping us expand the library, Sign Up Below.
